SPACE Parenting Support for Anxiety, OCD, and ARFID

SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is an evidence-based, treatment approach designed for parents of children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), or ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).

Yasmin Smith, MSW, RSW
Social Worker Psychotherapist

Yasmin has over a decade of experience providing support to children, adolescents and parents. She is a mother of five children, four of whom have ADHD. Yasmin's background also includes supporting and guiding children and young people through the school system and post-secondary studies.


Bojana Ambrozic-McKay, MSW, RSW
Social Worker Psychotherapist

Bojana has decades of experience working with individuals and families who are facing transitions: both expected and unexpected. She is the mother of two children who are diagnosed as gifted and ADHD.

Our therapists maintain strict confidentiality, with legal exceptions only for immediate safety risks. Parents receive general progress updates without compromising your child's privacy.

What treatment approaches do you use?

We utilize evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and developmental approaches tailored specifically to each client's therapeutic goals.

How long are typical therapy sessions?

Sessions typically are 50 minutes in length.

What happens during a intake consultation?

Intake consultations are done via a telephone call, and allow you to share what you are wanting to gain for yourself or your child, from counselling sessions.
